🍃 Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d predicted? If you predicted anything.

I didn't predict anything but I feel like if I had it would've been less than what I did write? I was so drained last year I'm not sure I even expected to write fic

🍃 What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January, and was it as unpredicted as this entire year?

LOONA. Loona anything, really? Also horror. lol. The things I do for Azca and myself.

What did I even write this year GOD. Probably the TXT one but it might be the simp in me talking. Compared to overall would have to mean I have an overall favorite lol

🍃 Do you have a story from previous years you now feel is underappreciated? Better than you remembered it to be?

That would imply I regularly read my own fic, which, to be fair, I do. But I haven't recently? All things considered, I think my fics are doing as good as they can given the fandoms they're in.

I WROTE HORROR. and shibari. lol. that was hard but now i know some fun shibari trivia

i wanna write more but i like this thing where i don't hate myself for not writing at tabloid speed. i'd like to keep it up. i kind of want to participate in more fests too

i had a really shitty year that was only partly related to... everything, and i think it squeezed the life out of me more than anything? probably wrote more despite the circumstances, not because of them hah

today, tomorrow look. look given the fucking nonexistent fic yu seungwoo has and how sewoon only has ficdom in the context of pd101. the attention it did get is A LOT lol but. still. pls love my guitar boys

✿ Looking back at 2021: ✿

i finished three whole wips who were started before 2021 and i didn't think i'd ever finish!!! yay to clearing out the wip dungeon!! this is my lowest wc year since 2016 and i'm actually happy about that? very little of what i wrote this year was easy to write but it's out there and i'm very proud of it. i came to some sad conclusions about my relationship with vixx fic, but i'm starting to rediscover things i used to enjoy before so who knows

✿ Fic-writing goals for 2022: ✿

i wanna get back into writing nct? i miss my boys. i wanna write more in general, but not in the force-yourself-to-beat-ur-own-made-up-score way. i wanna join more fests, finish some wips and ideally not burn myself out in the process

i think the main goal will be to not judge myself next year. it's my own goddamn sand castle i can make it as ugly as i want

i, for one, am so very proud of you. and honestly, if you managed to write all months but one i say that you get a wildcard, because that's still super impressive. you did so good, despite everything else you had going on, and look at you being proud of it :_
